My bateries no longer will charge. I still have use for these wonderfull tools. Are replacement batteries available?

Serial #(041913E) is not recharging. The recharge unit is hot but after hours in the recharger the battery is dead. I don’t think it is still in warranty. I purchased it in July of 1988. It has served me well and I would like to find out a local facility that sells the battery and the price.
