EGO has only been around since 2013 yet has earned a reputation as a leader in electric outdoor power equipment (OPE). In fact, EGO has revolutionized the industry with its state of the arc power, performance and quality found in its products. The 2024 EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower is no different and raises the standard of consumer electric mowers.

Today we have our full TIA review of the 2024 EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower. We breakdown all the features and even get a test drive from Dan.

Guide

About EGO

EGO 56V ARC lithium battery

As we said, EGO was only established in 2013. Yet, in just over a decade the EGO brand has received the same level of respect as some of the most long-standing power tool and OPE brands. This is largely due to EGO’s battery technology.

EGO did not invent the first electric lawn mower, but many consumers weren’t sold on the technology until EGO electric mowers showed them that electric can compete with gas OPE.

EGO has only improved its battery power and OPE products. Today’s EGO 56V 10.0Ah ARC Lithium™ battery gives consumers and professionals an unprecedented amount of electric OPE performance.

EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower Features Review

Let’s take a closer look at the top features on this new EGO mower.

Cutting System

The 2024 EGO Lawn Mower has a Select Cut™ Multi-Blade Cutting System. This mower has a two-blade cutting system with upper deck blades and interchangeable lower blades. The two blades gives it twice the cutting power. The two blade work with the motor and battery to provide up to 11.1 ft-lbs of cutting torque and achieve blade speeds all the way up to 3,350 RPM.

The double blade action combined prevents those stubborn single blades or even patches of grass that sometimes escape the first pass of the lawn mower.

Lifetime Aluminum Deck

The 22 in. aluminum deck is extremely durable and anti-rust. That means you should never experience dents or rust during the mower’s lifespan. But if you do the aluminum deck is backed by a lifetime warranty.

When the deck is paired with the built-in High-Lift Bagging Blade it gives the mower the suction power to minimize leftover grass clippings and prevent the deck from clogging. Mower also comes with a 2.5-bushel bagger for grass collection.

Adjustments & Customization

The blades have two cutting adjustments with eight different positions with a cut height range of one to four inches.

Mower speed can be set between 0.9 to 3.1 MPH.

Folds up for compact and easy storage.

LED Lights

The LED headlights have three settings in addition to on and off. These settings are ECO, Normal, and Turbo.

Runtime

EGO tested this battery to provide up to 70 minutes of runtime when paired with the included EGO 56V 10.0Ah ARC Lithium™ battery.

Warranty

The 2024 EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower and EGO 56V 10.0Ah ARC Lithium™ battery are backed by a 5-year warranty, and the aluminum deck is backed by a lifetime warranty.

EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower Performance Review

Check out Dan’s video to see the 2024 EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower in action on Instagram.

We also have some thoughts not shared in the video.

Tools in Action is based in the Chicago area. We have received a lot of rain recently. This grass wasn’t wet, but still moist from a week of on and off rainfall. It’s also very dense grass and grows rapidly right now. All of this together can create grass that is just a nightmare to cut.

I know we just cut a small patch of grass, but the 2024 EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower tackled it with no fight. Dan and I are already fighting over who gets to take this EGO lawn mower home.

Value of EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower

The 2024 EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower retails for $1,199 at Amazon, ACE Hardware, and anywhere else EGO OPE is sold. This price includes an EGO 56V 10.0Ah ARC Lithium™ battery and charger. The battery alone has a $500 value and is a huge factor into EGO’s high-quality performance that sets it above the competition.

The EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower may be the most expensive self-propelled lawn mower currently on the market. The STIHL RMA 510 V 21 in. 36 V Battery Self-Propelled Lawn Mower prices similarly once you add in the 36V battery. It also has a comparable performance of about 60 minutes of runtime, has seven height adjustments, and a steel deck. However, one big thing other lawn mowers are lacking is the cutting torque and blade speeds of the EGO.

When every lawn mower brand is conducting their own tests with different standards it’s hard to compare them side-by-side. So here is what you need to know the 2024 EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower’s performance compared to competitors.

The power built into the EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower allows it cut through taller and denser grass (or weeds or general foliage) with less drain on the battery. The power combined with the torque and blade speeds and superior bagging suction you are going to experience less stalls and clogs.

Overall, you can’t compare the 2024 EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower to other consumer self-propelled lawn mowers on the market because it’s a new level of quality and performance.

Back to Guide

Final Review

The 2024 EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower has raised the bar on consumer self-propelled electric lawn mowers. However, are we surprised? EGO has been a leader in electric OPE since they entered the game.

The 2024 EGO 22 in. Lawn Mower is a high-end consumer option, but great for consumers with average sized to larger lawns, or want to glide through dense leaves and weeds.

Once again, this EGO Lawn Mower can be purchased through AmazonACE Hardware.

Automowers have been out for a while and we have had the chance to review these in the past, but it has never been something I jumped at as I know it’s not for me.  So why is it not for me but yet I am writing this Husqvarna Automower 430XH Review?  Simple but complex answer but I will try and make it quick before we jump in.

Like it or not, we live in a world of technology.  No matter where you look, technology is there, we can not escape this new way of living.  As great as technology can be, it can also be extremely frustrating.  Sometimes when I press my garage door to open, it resets and doesn’t open. I turn on my tv and sometimes the sound doesn’t work.  I try to turn up the volume on my iPhone and I take a screenshot and the list goes on.  Speaking of phones, why do people insist on having a long conversation through text?

Two reasons I would never own an Automower.  First, I don’t want to deal with more technology in my life as the automowers seem complicated.  Second, I like mowing my lawn.  I put on my earbuds, pop on some music, and get lost, it’s my time.  My time to relax and get away from the world.  So why would I want to give up something that allows me to escape, reset and get away from the daily grind?

So again, why am I doing this Husqvarna Automower 430XH Review?  A while back we went down to visit Husquvara and see their new Excite riding mower.  While I was down there, I really realized the quality of Husquvarna products.  The mower was awesome, the blower was one of the most powerful we have seen and the list goes on.  Another thing I saw was the Automowers running in an open field.  It was cool, but still not for me.  However being in this business, I know there are a lot of people who would want to know more about these mowers and how they stack up.  So considering Husqvarna is one of the best in regards to quality, I wanted to give this mower a shot.  I knew I would set it up and then when I was done, give it to my neighbor and have him deal with the headaches. Then I could get back to my escape and mow the grass myself.

Sidenote – I learned that you should not be cutting off more than 1/3 of the height of your grass each time you mow.  I used to cut my grass short all the time, hoping to extend the time between mowings.  Since I listened to Husqvarna and cut more often instead of shorter, my grass doesn’t stress out and go brown like it used to.

What is an Automower?

An automower is the lazy man’s dream.  You set it up and it cuts the grass for you so you can sit on the beach and drink fruity drinks all day long.  OK, maybe the beach part is stretching it but you get the point, an Automower automatically cuts your grass for you.

The automower consists of the mower, which cuts the grass, the docking station where the automower goes for charging, and then a couple of different wires.  The first set of wires is laid to set the boundaries so the mower only cuts inside of that boundary.  The second wire set-up is the guide wire.  This is the way the automower finds not only its charging station but also navigates to harder-to-find places.  So if you have a small area in the back and a small path to get there, you’re showing the mower how to access this part of the lawn.

On top of the mower, you have an access panel to program the mower.  In all honesty, I played around with it a little bit but the app is so great, I pretty much did everything from the app.  But if you need to make fine adjustments or other more in-depth things, you always have access to them through an onboard system.

So How Does this Cut?

So how does an automower cut?  I know this sounds funny but I actually thought it had a lawnmower blade, just like my lawnmower and it would cut the same way, but it doesn’t.

Get this, it pretty much uses razor blades.  Yes, when I first learned that, I was thinking that’s crazy, but they are a lot tougher than standard razor blades.  How do you cut a lawn with three razor blades?  I am so used to a 21″ blade.  With a razor blade, it would take forever to cut a lawn.  It would be like using tweezers to move hay while you’re looking through a haystack. It just didn’t make sense to me.

Well, I was wrong.  These three razor blades not only make short work out of cutting the lawn but they last a long time before they need to be replaced.

Set Up

Husqvarna Automower 430XH

While I was excited to test this out, I was not excited about the installation.  I really thought it would be a pain.  First, I thought ok, I will be short on supplies, or burying the wire would be a pain, or programming the unit would take forever.  Bottom line, I made every excuse in the book to push it off and find other projects to do instead.  While I am not going to get into every aspect of installation, I can tell you it was much easier than I expected.  In fact, I bought a grill, and putting together the grill was much harder than installing this automower.

First, the unit comes with everything you need and I wasn’t even close to using half of the supplies it comes with.  So don’t worry about running out of supplies.

Installing the wire was a piece of cake.  While you can stake the wire on the ground, I did want it buried.  I didn’t want to rent a cable installer so I just used my cordless edger and made a trench with that and installed the wire, then covered it up.

The mower comes with a cardboard ruler so you can make sure as it travels it isn’t hitting structures or going into flower beds, etc.  You can always adjust the travel distance over the wire through the app, so the wire placement doesn’t have to be overly precise.  Since I was burying the wire, and my yard doesn’t have any areas of concern like flower beds, I just eyeballed everything.  I knew I was still going to have to use my trimmer since my grass goes up against the house and fence.  So my idea was to place the wire far enough away so the mower isn’t bouncing off the wall and house.  This way I could just take the push mower and make one single pass.  If you want to get more precise, you can easily do this so you don’t have to make a pass with a push mower.

Husqvarna Automower 430XH

You first have to start and find a place to keep the charging station (Dock, Home Base).

I put mine behind my shed.  I did this for a couple of different reasons.  First, it’s out of sight.  Second, there is more than enough room for set up and this is an area I never really use, so I am not losing any space.  Third, it’s out of the sun for most of the day.  Not that it matters much if it’s in the sun, but the unit is plastic so I am sure after a while, the sun might fade the color.

Husqvarna Automower 430XH

I used an edger to trench the boundary wires and the guide wire.  I first started with a shovel but quickly realized that would be a pain and take all day.  Once I moved to the edger, it was simple.  I am not saying do this for your install, I am just telling you how I installed it.

This gives you a better view of how I laid the wire.  Yes, I would have laid it closer to the fence but my thought was I was just going to use the push mower on the perimeter anyways, so I really do not need to be too exact and try to get every square inch with the automower.

Husqvarna Automower 430XH

I have a small area between the back of the garage and the shed.  According to Husquvarna and the manual, I had enough room to run the wires and allow the mower to fully work, but I didn’t.  The area is a little narrow and I knew I was going to use a push mower on some spots, it would be easy to cut myself.

Husqvarna Automower 430XH

The line on the left is a guide wire.  The unit comes with two guide wires so I ran one towards the house and the other I ran to a hard-to-reach area of the lawn.

Husqvarna Automower 430XH

I did have one area of concern which is to the right side of that retaining wall.  It is a little hard to see but I think the slope might be a little more than the 45 degrees.  I figure I am testing it so why not try?  I have been using the automower for over a month and the automower has tackled the slope with ease.  However, I did have one hiccup.

The mower was mowing in the rain.  I am not sure what happened but I received an alert on my phone that the automower tipped over.  When I went outside to see what happened, I found out the mower didn’t tip over.  What I think happened was it was hitting an area that is over 45 degrees and the mower slide back and then it triggered some type of alert.  I just moved the mower back and it went on its way.

So this is a tricky area as it’s narrow.  If the area wasn’t long, I might have bypassed this.  However, the area needs to be mowed and it also goes back to a little larger area to be mowed.  I ran both a boundary wire and the guide wire and gave it a shot.  My concern was the automower would be bouncing around and then ripping up the lawn as it would make a bunch of turns.

Again, I have been using this for over a month and it has been awesome.  The mower does mow this part and does bounce around a little bit, but it never rips up any grass and I never see any tracks.

Here’s a great article on Husqvarna.com: How do Automower® Robotic Lawn Mowers work?

After Set Up

After I set up the unit and had the boundary wires and guide wires in place, I figured this is where things would be difficult.  I was wrong.  The app is extremely easy to work with.  I am not going into everything as you can watch other videos from Husqvuara about the app but there are three things I want to touch on.

With the app, you can adjust the blade height which is a great feature.  If you need to adjust the travel distance over the boundary wire, you can do that also.  For me, the best part is how simple setting the scheduling time for mowing.  Whoever designed this app did a great job.  It’s so easy to create or change the mowing schedule.

Impressions before having the mower do its job

The unit seemed to be extremely tough.  Again, Husqvarna makes quality products so it’s not something that came as a surprise to me.

What I really liked best was how easy and hands-off this unit is.  Once it’s set up, there is no messing around.  Even when you do have to change blades, they make that process extremely easy.

In Action

Husqvarna Automower 430XH

OK, not going to lie.  Husqvarna makes great products but for me, I really wasn’t expecting too much with the finish cut of the mower.  Yes, I thought it would look good but with razor blades, I wasn’t sure what to expect.

I was blown away.  This machine does an awesome job.  My lawn always looks incredible.  I have a new lawn so I do have some dirt spots.  I thought for sure I would see mud trails all over but to my surprise, it didn’t leave mud trails at all.  Second, I have been using it for over a month and there are no areas where it has ripped up my lawn.

Husqvarna Automower 430XH

As I noted above, I have a new yard that not all the grass seed has taken.  So it has a lot of bare spots.  I found out a couple of things.  The wheels are great.  When it goes over the wet dirt, it’s not heavy enough that it puts tracks in there or it doesn’t pull up dirt as it travels.  It can make it through those areas without any issues.

Husqvarna Automower 430XH

Here is an example of a bare spot.  This is a little hard to tell from the picture but this is one of the areas with mostly dirt.  It rained the night before and the mower already did its job.  As you can see it doesn’t dig into the dirt and leave trails.

Husqvarna Automower 430XH

Once the mowing is complete, it will auto-park itself in the docking station and begin recharging.

It’s tough.  I tried to not make it hit anything but as you can see it still hits the walls sometimes, but that’s on me as I just eyeballed everything during install.  The rubber bumper and plastic shield do a great job holding up.  I have a couple of areas where I laid the wire close to the garage so that is where I am guessing it’s hitting the concrete side.

This is what my yard looks like with the automower.  The front of my yard where I do not use the automower is brown and not looking as good.  We have not had a lot of rain so I am guessing that my chopping up and taking off a lot of grass during a drought is stressing the grass out.  Where in the back it is only taking a small amount off, it’s not stressing out the grass.

Issues

So what issues have I had?  As I said, the one time it showed it said it tipped over.  That is really not the fault of the mower, that is just how I laid the wire and let it try and tackle more than a 45-degree slope.

Another issue I had was I cut the boundary wire and didn’t know I did.  After I laid the wire, I came back about a month later and was trying to repair some bare spots.  The area I was fixing has compacted dirt so I used a shovel to try and break up the dirt.  I noticed the mower didn’t cut the next morning and when I looked at the app, it showed an error.  So I had to try and find the area I cut through the wire.  I ended up finding it and it was extremely easy to repair.  Again, not the fault of the mower, it was my fault.

I would like to see some type of fault finder.  Not sure if it is possible to create a fault finder for this.  Not sure what happens over the years if animals, kids or something else cuts the wire, would be nice to have an easy way to find the cut.  For me, it was easy since I knew where I was digging.

Final Thought

Talk about a 180-degree attitude change, this mower changed my thinking.  At first, I really did not want this mower.  Now, I will not give it up.  I love this mower.  The mower is tough, easy to use and does an awesome job, and leaves a great-looking lawn.  I thought I would miss my “escape time” but instead this automower has allowed me more time to do other things, meaning I get more done around the house and my wife is happier.

This is a must-have system.  I understand that this is a big upfront cost but in the long run, it pays for itself.  Again, it’s easy to use and leaves a great-looking lawn, this is a no-brainer.

When it comes to Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE), Toro has a long history.  While they are newer to the battery-powered OPE products, they seem like they haven’t missed a beat.  Today we are going to check out the Toro 60V Stripe Lawnmower, which is a new mower to their popular 60V line of OPE products.

Toro 60V Stripe Lawnmower Overview

Toro is one of those companies you see all over.  Visit a baseball park and you will probably see a Toro mowing the field.  Go to your local park, same thing, probably a Toro mowing, trimming, and more.  My point is that when it comes to knowledge and experience, Toro is not new to the game.  So when they come out with a new mower, it is wise to take a look, which we are doing today.  So let’s jump in and see the Stripe mower and what it has to offer.

Toro 60V Stripe Lawnmower Features

Toro 60V Stripe Lawnmower

The Stripe mower has seven different models in this line. The mower is a self-propelled mower that features a 21″ deck.

The mower is powered by a single Toro 60V battery which can also be used in 75 other Toro tools.  The battery can run up to 65 minutes and is designed for 2/3 acres of grass or less.

Toro 60V Stripe Lawnmower

The handle has a comfortable setup with a curve to the handle which makes it easy to work with.  There is a bar on the top and bottom, one is the safety bar and the bottom will engage the self-propelled, which the speed can be adjusted on the right side with a dial.

A user has two options, bag or mulch.  Both are easy to use and easy to change.  If you want a side discharge, once you register the product, you can request a side discharge chute.

Toro 60V Stripe Lawnmower

One interesting feature is how you change the height.  Some mowers need to be adjusted at each wheel while others have a single lever to adjust all four wheels at the same time.

For me, I like the Toro setup.  There is a single lever on the back that will adjust the back wheels at the same time.  On the front, it is set up the same way where one lever will control the height of both wheels.  I like having the freedom and more control over the height with this setup as opposed to one lever for all four wheels.

Toro 60V Stripe Lawnmower

The mower is designed with two blades which results in better cutting, better mulching, and a better finished lawn.

Toro 60V Stripe Lawnmower Performance

When it comes to performance, this mower doesn’t lag.  If you have followed our Instagram, you can see how well this mower has performed on green grass.  Unfortunately, we just did videos and never took pictures.  By the time we took pictures, our grass was dormant.  Above is just two passes on the right side.

With green grass, it does stripe the grass.  Not like what we have seen on a baseball field but better than other mowers.  The outcome of the striping is going to depend on the grass and the height and thickness of the grass.

One thing we noticed was this mower is powerful.  When it hit deeper or tougher spots, the mower ramped up quickly and provided the needed power to cut tall grass.

Toro 60V Stripe Lawnmower Price

You can pick up the Toro Stripe from $379 to $729 depending upon the model number. The model number is basically going to determine the battery size and accessories you get, but it’s the same mower.  As a consumer, I think this is a great deal because if you price this on the lower model, this offers more options and power than some of like models in the field.  For the high-end models, this is in line with other like models.

Toro 60V Stripe Lawnmower Wrap Up

The bottom line, this is a great mower.  The mower is powerful and easy to use, plus provides a clean-cut lawn.  Considering you can use the battery with a wide range of other 60V Toro tools, this is a great option for the homeowner.

Final Thoughts on Xcite Zero-Turn Mowers

Whether you go with the Z350 or the Z380, these Husqvarna Xcite Zero-Turn mowers are luxurious. The price tag definitely reflects this with the two models retailing between $5,499 to $6,999. However, if you have a large yard and mowing it is a large part of your life, you may find a lot of value in a comfortable mowing experience matched with excellent power and precision.

When you think of outdoor power equipment (OPE), who do you think of? For me, it’s hands-down EGO, which I will explain shortly.  This article is about two new mowers for 2023, so let’s jump into the 2023 EGO Lawn Mowers, but before we do, I have a little story I want to tell you.

Who Is EGO

EGO was the first company to truly make a viable battery-powered lawn mower.  While there were other mowers out there, none had the power or quality anyone really wanted.  When EGO hit the market, it changed the way we all looked at OPE products, just like how Tesla changed how we looked at battery-operated cars.

My Experience

So let me jump into my little story and I’ll make it short.  You can watch the video below to see the whole story.  Back in 2014, I received a call from Stephen who was introducing me to a new battery-operated lawn mower called EGO.  However, I didn’t want anything to do with it, I was happy with gas.  Long story short, he sold me on testing it out, I fell in love with it and it changed the game.  I still have the first-generation EGO mower that I use all the time, which you can see in the pictures above.

So for me, when I speak of EGO, I speak of the experience I have had for the last eight years and how they have performed like a champ for me.  I am still using old technology and enjoying every minute of it.

In fact, I love EGO so much, I have invested in the full line of OPE.  I also have the chainsaw, the inverter, light, fan, and more but just as an example, here are some of my most used EGO products.

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

If that doesn’t say a lot.  I even changed my neighbor Tom from gas to battery.  I tried to tell him about it for years and he never wanted to change.  About two years ago, he made the change and he always tells me how much he likes his EGO.

Why do I tell you all of this?  Simple, it’s a company that has produced the best OPE, and is something I have a ton of experience with.  So when I talk about EGO, it’s not from a salesman’s point of view.  I really don’t care if you buy the products or not.  It’s just the fact that they have been so dependable and performed like no other, it just excites me.  Yes, I know I am crazy.

Two 2023 EGO Lawn Mowers

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

For 2023, EGO has released two new mowers, the LM2114SP and the LM2125SP.  While they share some common features, they also have some differences to note.  But before we go on, I do want to mention that they come with a 5-year mower warranty and a 3-year battery warranty.  So let’s jump in and talk about what is in common with both mowers.

2023 EGO Lawn Mowers – What’s in Common

2023 Ego Lawn MowersBoth of these 2023 EGO Lawn Mowers are designed around a 3360-watt brushless motor that delivers 6ft-lbs of torque.

They both are powered by the EGO 56v battery which runs their whole platform.  So if you jump into one of these mowers, you will have batteries for other products in their line.

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

One nice feature is they are designed with heavy-duty plastic.  Not sure if it’s ABS or what, but looking at my mower from eight years ago, I don’t have any cracks, so I know these new ones will last.

The mowers are both self-propelled and offer a 21″ deck.

As with all their other mowers, they utilize a single lever to adjust all four wheels at the same time.  No more having to adjust each wheel.

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

If you love their handle, no worries as they have utilized the same handle with these mowers.  I use my handle more than I ever thought.  Getting it in and out of the shed, putting it in my truck, or when I have to move it from the front yard to the back yard.

Doesn’t matter if you like bagging, mulching, or using the side discharge, these mowers offer all three options.

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

One of my favorite features of these mowers is the handles.  So many times we see cheap handles that flex and bend.  The EGO has always had these strong durable handles and these two new 2023 EGO Lawn Mowers are no different.

If you are limited on space, no worries.  You can easily fold and store the mower under your bench or other tight areas.

Another feature I love about these 2023 EGO Lawn Mowers is the different handle positions.  Doesn’t matter if you are small in stature or tall, you can easily find a good handle height with one of the three options.

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

On the handle, there is a status indicator about what is going on with the power of your mower.

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

As with their other mowers, these also have bright LED lights in case your mowing takes you into the twilight of the evening.

What is Different

As you can see, there are many similarities between these mowers.  However, there are also some differences.  So let’s take a look at what is different between these 2023 EGO Lawn Mowers.

One noticeable difference is the battery size.  The LM2114SP comes with a 6Ah battery and offers 50 minutes of run time.  The LM2125SP comes with a 7.5Ah battery and offers 60 minutes of runtime.

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

You will also notice the chargers are different.  The LM2125SP comes with a 550 Watt charger for quicker charging.

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

Another one of the more notable differences is the way a user engages and uses the self-propelled feature.

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

With the LM2114SP, you have two levers a user can hold to activate and use the self-propelled feature.  A user can use a single lever to activate it also.  With the LM2114SP you are always having to squeeze and release to activate and deactivate the self-propelled feature which some people find annoying.  However, there are a lot of people who are used to this style and like it.

You can also see how adjusting speeds is a little different.  With the LM2114SP, you can push or pull the center tab to increase or decrease speed.

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

The LM2125SP doesn’t rely on levers to activate the self-propelled feature.  As you are pushing on the handles, you naturally push on the self-propelled feature which makes it much easier, in my opinion, to activate the self-propelled feature.  If you don’t want to use the self-propelled feature, no worries, you can turn it off so you don’t accidentally hit the buttons.

Instead of a push tab to increase or decrease speed, the LM2125SP uses a dial to set your speed.

The two biggest differences are the way you interact with the self-propelled feature and the battery size.  While I like the setup of the LM2125SP, I know there are a lot of people who still like the lever style, so in the end, it’s nice to see EGO is accommodating to both styles.

2023 EGO Lawn Mowers Performance

2023 Ego Lawn Mowers

So let’s talk about performance.  My 2014 performs like a champ so now imagine eight years of advancement.  These mowers perform like no other.  While all mowers cut, there are a lot that seem to just push the grass over, and the next day you see blades of grass standing up.  With the EGO, they actually cut the grass and don’t just push over the grass.

The 2023 EGO Lawn Mowers are both extremely quiet as you would expect.  And as with all the other EGO mowers, they are very easy to use and operate.

The self-propelled feature is head and shoulders above the rest.  Easy to control and you can change speeds on the fly.

Overall these are powerful and offer enough runtime for most yards.  If there is a time you need more power, the motor will adjust and ramp up to produce more power for those tough areas.

2023 EGO Lawn Mowers – Final Wrap Up

The bottom line, you will not go wrong with EGO.  As I said, I have a model from 2014 that I absolutely love.  I have to admit, this is hard for me to decide if I should get rid of my old mower.  The new mowers are more powerful and the self-propelled option is nice.  However, I am having a hard time parting with my old mower.  Part of me wants to see how long it will last.

Considering current technology is much better in 2023 than what was offered in 2014, these mowers are worth the investment and they will last.  The platform is awesome and these two mowers for 2023 are a nice addition to an already incredible OPE lineup.  For us, EGO has the best-performing battery-powered OPE lineup on the market.

Have you jumped on the battery-powered lawn mower bandwagon?  If you’re like me, I have been skeptical over the years, but now I can’t see myself going back to gas.  A battery-powered OPE system is so much nicer.  Reduced noise levels, no gas, oil, or filters to mess with and the power has increased over the years to give gas a true run for the money.  However not all battery-powered lawn mowers are worth the money.  So today we look at the RYOBI AWD Lawn Mower and see if this is worth the investment.

RYOBI AWD Lawn Mower Overview

RYOBI is the home brand for The Home Depot.  With RYOBI, you can buy a lawnmower that is inexpensive or you can pay more and get all the bells and whistles.  However, there is one thing RYOBI is known for, great features, performance, and all for a good value.

Today we look at their premium lawnmower, model RY401210.  This is a lawnmower packed with features, said to offer premium performance and won’t break the bank. So let’s take a look at the RYOBI AWD Lawn Mower.

RYOBI AWD Lawn Mower Features

The RYOBI mower is a rear-wheel-drive mower that is self-propelled and can run up to 70 minutes. The 21″ deck has a lifetime warranty.

This mower can bag, mulch, or side discharge. At the heart of the mower, there is a powerful brushless motor to help plow through any tough job.

This mower is powered by a single 40V RYOBI battery.  When one battery is depleted, a user can turn the key and will have a fresh battery to finish the job.

The mower has four 10″ wheels to help get over rough terrain.

Using this machine is extremely easy.  Just pull back on the handle and push a button.  The optional 4-wheel drive is great for hills and a user can easily adjust the speed for the self-propelled option.

When not in use, the handle easily folds up for storage.

One of my favorite features is the emulation of the mulching plug.  No more plugs to pull or lose.  Just slide a handle over and you can easily set the machine up to bag or mulch.

Ryobi AWD Lawn Mower

Often overlooked, RYOBI did a great job with the handle design.  You can see the triangle design which locks the handle in place and helps eliminate sloppy play.

Ryobi AWD Lawn Mower

A user can adjust all four wheels with a single lever.  There are seven positions from 1.5″ to 4″.

RYOBI AWD Lawn Mower Performance

I have to say that this is a great lawnmower.  The mower is powerful, easy to use, and has great run time.  Plus the cut quality is great.  We have tested a lot of battery-operated mowers over the years and this is easily one of the top performers along with the EGO mowers.

Ryobi AWD Lawn Mower

One reason the cut quality is so good, plus the bagging and mulching is because of the two-blade system, which does an awesome job.

While I like everything about this mower, I do wish it came with a dual charger.  Plus sometimes the wheels aren’t free-spinning so it can make turning a little harder plus tear up a little grass when making turns.

RYOBI AWD Lawn Mower Value

When I first saw the price of $799 at The Home Depot, I did have sticker shock because I am not used to seeing RYOBI priced so high.  However, I do understand this is a top-of-the-line mower.  The motor is solid and offers good cut quality, plus this has some great features to help justify the cost.  If you are looking for a premium mower, you will have to pay up, no matter what line you get into.  So with that said, if you are going to grow into the RYOBI line and you pride yourself on a good-looking cut lawn, this is a great option for you.

RYOBI AWD Lawn Mower Final Thoughts

Bottom line, this is a great lawnmower that is packed with features, offers great performance is reasonably priced for what it offers.  Sure, I wish it came with a dual charger and a couple of other items, but the fact RYOBI has a ton of outdoor power tools you can jump into and offers a good value, it’s a good buy.

Have you jumped on the bandwagon of the battery-powered mower?  If not, don’t sweat.  It took me a while to warm up to the idea of not using gas and only relying on a battery lawnmower to cut my yard.  If you haven’t taken the leap of faith and jumped into a battery power mower, today might be the day that you remember taking battery-powered mowers seriously, so let’s jump in and take a look at the Skil Lawnmower Review.

Skil Lawnmower Review Overview

As I said, it took me a while to warm up to even trusting a battery-powered mower to cut my yard.  I grew up on gas motors for lawnmowers, string trimmers, chainsaws, and more.

So when I had the chance to make the change, I was reluctant.  However, my first experience was with Ego and I have never looked back.  I now own the whole Ego line of OPE tools because I believe in them, they perform, I don’t have to deal with gas, and let’s just say my life is so much easier.  In fact, even my wife will mow the lawn now with the Ego mower since she doesn’t have to deal with the gas motors.  The Ego performs and cuts like a gas mower hands down.

So why am I talking about Ego when we are here for the Skil?  Simple, Ego owns Skil so I am willing to bet that some of the technology that goes into Ego, also goes into Skil.  Since I have loved my Ego OPE tools and they have been reliable, I know I can trust Skil even though this mower is new to the market for them.

What is most important than anything else is the battery.  You have to have a great battery in order to have a great and reliable lawnmower or other OPE tools, which when it comes to OPE batteries, I can’t think of one company that does it better than Chervon, which owns both Ego and Skil.

Skil Lawnmower Review Features

Skil Lawnmower Review

The Skil lawnmower, model SM4910-10 harnesses a digital brushless motor that is designed for performance, longevity, and efficiency.

The Skil is powered by a 40V PWR CORE battery.  This model comes with a 5Ah battery.  There is a bunch to love about the battery but what you will notice the most is how fast the battery will charge.  The battery will charge from 0% to 30% in 30 minutes with a 5Ah battery.  However, the inside of the battery is where all the magic happens.  Skil designed this battery to stay cool and each cell is wrapped with a cooling material which not only gives it longer run time but extends the life of the battery.

The battery sits on the front of the lawnmower and is protected from the outside elements with a plastic hood.

Skil Lawnmower Review

The deck is a full ABS plastic for strength and also gives it a lightweight which is easy to use, lift and store.

Skil Lawnmower Review

The lawnmower features a 20″ single blade.

The deck is designed for easy lifting as it has a handle on the back and also an area to grab on the front of the mower.

With this mower, a user can either bag or mulch.

One nice feature is the single lever to raise and lower the deck.  With a single lever that is located on the back wheel, a user can raise or lower the whole deck at once instead of each wheel one at a time. The mower offers 7 different cutting positions.

The lawnmower is easy to start, just push a button.  It really can not be any easier.

Skil Lawnmower Review

The Skil mower has a handle that is suited for a couple of different ways to push the lawnmower.  A user can place their hands on the side of the bar or on top.

Skil Lawnmower Review

Skil did a great job with the placement of the self-propelled control system.  Just hold the lever to the handlebar and the self-propelled feature is engaged.  A user can adjust the speed with a dial right below the lever.

If storage is limited, you will be happy to know the mower is extremely easy to fold up and store away, even in an upright position.

Skil Lawnmower Review Performance

So I used this mower on my front yard and back yard which does provide two different scenarios.  My house has been under construction and I added an addition to my house.  Since they dug up the back yard and I need to finish the landscape, I haven’t really taken care of it so the grass grows rather high.

My front yard I still treat like a regular lawn where I mow it each week and really take care of it, so it more reflects what most people would go through with their mowers.

In the front yard, this was a no brainer.  The performance was great.  Easy to use, the self-propelled system works great and the cut quality is top-notch.  So no complaints about the front yard.

In the back yard, the grass was much higher, which was hard to show on pictures.  While it did perform better than I expected, the really high parts it did have a little tougher time getting through.  However, this isn’t an issue because most people don’t let their grass grow as high as I do since I don’t care about the backyard.  In fact, if someone did let their grass grow this high, they wouldn’t be on the second setting trying to cut grass as I did.  A normal person would have raised the wheels to four or five and then cut.

So the bottom line about performance, the mower did an awesome job and wouldn’t have any issues trusting that it can power through a standard yard.

I bagged and mulched.  For each task, the mower did great.  As you can see, it does an awesome job of gathering the clippings and tossing them into the bag.

Skil Lawnmower Review Price

You can grab one of these on Amazon with Free shipping for about $479.  I don’t think it’s a bad price considering you get free shipping, a battery, and a quality mower that can get the job done.

Skil Lawnmower Review Wrap Up

Overall I think Skil did a great job with this mower, which doesn’t surprise me since Chervon is behind the name and known for their quality.  I love how powerful the mower is for your standard yards, I like how light the mower is when I am having to lift it, which most people don’t have to, I like how quickly the battery charges and I love the build quality of the mower. Most of all, I love the cut quality.

What do you think of when it comes time to cut the grass?  Are you dreading it or is it something you are looking forward to?  For me, I actually like cutting the grass.  I get exercise, I am outside and actually enjoy it.  However, it wasn’t always like that.  When I had a gas mower, it wasn’t as pleasant since it was loud, never knew if I had enough gas and there were those times it was a pain dealing with the hassle of gas mowers.  Today we have a mower that will make your mowing experience more pleasurable, the Greenworks 60V Mower.

Greenworks 60V Mower Overview

Sure cordless mowers have been out a while but let’s be honest, even though they have been on the market, they weren’t always the best quality.  Sometimes the quality lacked, sometimes the cut quality lacked or sometimes it didn’t do much good and just left clumps in your yard.

Well, the Greenworks is here and looking to make your mowing experience better by offering a high build quality mower, a long-running mower and a mower that actually cuts the grass and bags or mulch without leaving you wanting more.

Greenworks 60V Mower Features

Greenworks 60V Mower

The Greenworks mower is designed for the homeowner who wants or might need a little more power.  They designed this mower with SmartCut technology which detects changes in the terrain and grass conditions.  If the grass is high and needs more power, it will kick up the power so your cut quality doesn’t suffer.  If the grass is short and easy to mow, the mower will lower the power and give you more run time, again without lowering your cut quality.

The model number for this cordless mower is 2520102.

Greenworks 60V Mower

The mower is powered by a Greenworks 60V battery.  The battery features a four light LED for a user to see how much power is left in the battery.

The mower is built with a 21″ steel deck for toughness. The mower provides a cutting path of 20″.

The unit is powered by a single battery.  In the front of the mower, you can insert two batteries.  So when one battery runs out, the mower will automatically switch over to the other battery. Each battery will give you roughly 60 minutes of run time but will vary on length and type of grass you are cutting.

The mower can bag, mulch or side discharge.  All accessories are included.

Greenworks 60V Mower

On the top of the handle you can see the fuel level for each battery plus control the safety lever and self propelled option.

Greenworks 60V Mower

The handle is comfortable and has a nice decline so you can place your hands at the top or lower down depending upon your comfort level and how tall you are.

Greenworks 60V Mower

One huge improvement with this mower is the handle.  They really beefed up the handle to make it feel stronger and with the design, it is stronger.

To fold the handle down for storage or transportation, just push up on two buttons on the handle and the handle will fold down.

Greenworks 60V Mower Greenworks 60V Mower

The large plastic wheel can be raised or lowered with a single lever.  The lever is very easy to move up and down.

Greenworks 60V Mower Performance

Check out the video below and you can see first hand how the mower performed.  I was surprised how powerful the mower is and how well it did with mulching, mowing and bagging.

One of the biggest surprises was the quality of the mower.  The mower just feels solid.  I am not sure if it’s the redesigned handle, how easy it rolls around or just the ease of use but every way, it’s impressive.

Greenworks 60V Mower Value

You can pick this up at your local Lowes for about $500.  To me, this is a great value.  First, the build quality is great and more than what I expected.  Second, no more spending money on gas. Third, well let’s just say to get rid of the hassles of gas, well that is priceless.

Greenworks 60V Mower Final Thoughts

Overall I love this mower.  I love the build quality and the cut quality.  Not only does this mower do a great job at cutting the grass but it does awesome at bagging and mulching. If you are looking for a cordless mower to make your life easier, this is a great option.  Next time you are at Lowes, check this out and I know you will be impressed also.

So have you jump ship and bought into the whole battery-powered lawn mowers?  I know for me, I was a gas man.  Nothing beats the power, the cut quality, the build quality of the mulching quality of a gas mower.  A while back Ego introduced me to the first true battery lawnmower and I haven’t looked back.  I am impressed by the build quality of the mower, the cut quality but best of all, I love the ease of use.  In fact, even my wife will mow the lawn with a battery power mower.  Today Ego announced a new addition to their family so let’s jump in and take a look at the Ego Lawn Mower Review.

This is the launch of the Ego G3 Lawn Mower model LM2135SP.  Word on the street, the mower bags, mulches and cuts better than the gas Toro and Honda.  Which if you know Toro and Honda, they are the premier push mowers.

Ego Lawn Mower Review Overview

It’s amazing to think that back in April 2014 is when we were first introduced to the Ego brand.  At that time we knew we were impressed by the build quality and the cut quality.  The only unknown was the batteries and how long they would last.  Well, here we are 5 years later and I am still using the same lawnmower and still have the original batteries.

So I would have to say Ego was a winner from day one.  Since then they have grown by leaps and bounds, they have released a ton of products like blowers, edgers, snowblowers and more.

The one thing I can say about Ego, each one of their products is quality.  They are not a company to release a product just to release it.  They release a product once it’s the best one on the market and it has the highest quality.

So speaking of new products, let’s take a look at their new lawnmower.

Ego Lawn Mower Review Features

This Ego is the newest model of their growing line of lawnmowers.  This is their third generation or G3 with a model number of LM2135SP.

Ego Lawn Mower Review

Ego is powered by a 56V battery which in itself is one of the best batteries on the market.  Heat kills batteries, so Ego designed this battery by keeping the heat dissipated.  The design of the battery allows the cells to be placed towards the outside and are not sandwiched inside other batteries.  The batteries are also packed in a sleeve that will absorb heat to also help dissipate heat.  I think this design is one of the reasons that I still have some of the original batteries from when Ego first came to market because they do such as a great job with the design and manufacturing of the 56V Battery.

Ego Lawn Mower Review

So what is so cool about the new mower, well it lies under the deck.  The mower uses a two-blade system to help cut, mulch and bag like no other mower in its class.

The 56V battery is located on top of the mower and protected by a plastic top.  It’s very easy to replace the battery as the top will stay open while changing the battery.

Ego Lawn Mower Review

As with the other Ego mowers, you can adjust all four wheels with a single lever which is located on the side of the mower.

I am not sure why, but I love the Ego wheels.  I like how easy and smooth they are along with the size.  I have seen other mowers with bigger wheels but they always seem to get in the way.

So let’s talk about storage.  This is one of the easiest mowers to fold up and store under a bench or on the wall.  The handle has two release levers that let the handle side down.  Then on the side, there is a push button to lower the handle to make it even smaller for storage.

Ego Lawn Mower Review

The handle has a good design where you can grab it on top or on the sides depending upon the style you like.

To start the mower, just push down on the green button and pull the green hand into the push handle.  It couldn’t be any simpler.

Ego Lawn Mower Review

For those who like self-propelled mowers, you’re in luck as it has that feature.  You can adjust the speed by the dial located at the top of the handlebar.  If you don’t like self-propelled, you can also turn it off.

The mower offers three options for grass debris.  There is a side discharge, bagging or mulching.

Ego Lawn Mower Review Performance

I live in Chicago so right now it’s cold outside and we had an early snowfall.  So for reviewing this mower, I knew it could be a chore since it not only had to cut wet grass, but it had to clean up a ton of leaves and even mulch and bag wet leaves.

Ego Lawn Mower Review

I found some dry leaves so I pushed up a pile on the driveway because I really wanted to see how much it would clear with a single pass.  As you can see, it definitely picks up all the leaves in a pass.  So now it was time to mulch, bag and mow the front yard.

Here are the before pictures.  Now the pictures don’t do justice because while there are dry leaves on top, it really doesn’t show all the wet smashed below.  As noted, we had snow a week or two before so it sat on the lawn and compacted the grass and leaves down.

Here are the after pictures.  Some areas I mulched and some I bagged.  I don’t know any other cordless lawn mowers that could make a yard look like this, considering the condition it was in before.

I am extremely impressed by how well the mower performed.  The grass was cut and not pushed down or missing blades of grass like I have seen with other mowers.  Mulching was also great, even with large piles.  Bagging was also great and produced results.

In the end, I am a true believer of Ego.  The new mower shines and I believe the second blades really work and isn’t just some sales gimmick. Heck, I am not even a fan of self-propelled mowers but I found myself using this feature as it was easy to operate and adjust for my pace.

Ego Lawn Mower Review Final Thoughts

The bottom line, Ego is the powerhouse in the cordless OPE world. The LM2135SP is just another example of why Ego remains at the top and the reason others are chasing them.  The mower has the traditional build quality you find in Ego which is top of the line.  The cut quality is what I would expect from Ego and the bagging and mulching is easily a top performer.

So if you are looking for a battery mower because you want to make the jump from gas or are looking to upgrade a previous battery mower, Ego is an easy choice.

Summer is in full swing and that means the grass is growing and lawns need to be cut.  If you are like most people, your lawn is a reflection of you.  We try hard to keep the weeds down and the lawn looking like Wrigley Field.  This article is going to be a little different.  When you hear lawnmower, most people just focus on the mower itself.  However, that is only part of the equation.  While a quality lawnmower can be great, it means nothing without having a quality engine powering the mower.  So today, I am talking about one of the most powerful teams in the OPE world, Toro and Briggs & Stratton Engines.

Gas vs Battery

Before we move on, let’s talk about battery vs gas mower, which is better.  Quick answer, one is not better than the other.  Both have their advantages and disadvantages.  One thing is for sure, both battery and gas engines have changed a lot over the last five years.  So take what you know about gas engines and toss that out the windows as the new Briggs & Stratton has some pretty cool new features.

So where does gas fit into the picture?  If you have a larger lawn, need more power or want some cool features that battery can’t offer, gas is the way to go.

Briggs developed a gas engine that breaks the mold which we will go into shortly.  The bottom line, Briggs & Stratton have an engine you can stand up, offers plenty of power and has an easy start system.  For now, let’s talk about the Toro mower so you can see where the Briggs & Stratton engine come into play.

Toro Personal Pace

Toro Personal Pace with Briggs & Stratton Engine

If you’re not familiar with Personal Pace, it’s just the best self-propelled system on any mower.  So what is so special about this system?  Most mowers you have a lever or dial that you have to adjust to a certain speed.  As you walk up a hill or down a hill, you will naturally walk faster or slower, which means you are always adjusting the speed, a real pain.

With the Personal Pace system, the speed is built into the handle.  So as you walk faster, you will naturally push harder on the handle.  When you push harder on the handle, the mower will increase speed.  As you walk slower, you will put less pressure on the handle and the mower will slow it’s speed down.  To me, this is just such a smart and ingenious system.

Here is the kicker, they now have it for reverse.  In the past, the system would only work going forward.  Now the Personal Pace will work when you back up.  So as you pull the handle towards you, the system will assist in going backward, what a cool feature.

Briggs & Stratton Engine

Toro Personal Pace with Briggs & Stratton Engine

OK, so the Toro Personal Pace is awesome.  However, it means nothing if you don’t have a quality engine that is efficient and makes your life easier plus powerful enough to get the job done.  So that is where the Briggs & Stratton 725 EXi engine comes into play.

Durability and Dependability – Briggs & Stratton have proven themselves over the long history of the company.  They are known for their small engines to last and be a true workhorse for the consumer.

SMARTSTOW – Smartstow has a very cool feature that allows the user to store the mower in the upright position.  Yes, you read this right.  You can store the mower in the upright position and not have to worry about gas dripping out, gas getting in the carb or the other issues that you know about gas engines being stored this way.

Power – The EXI Series 163 cc provides up to 7.25 ft-lbs of gross torque making it powerful enough for any lawn or terrain. No need to prime or choke the engine.

Oil Change – That is a thing of the past.  The engine doesn’t require to change the oil ever.  Yes, you never have to change the oil in this engine.

Easy Start – We already said no choke or prime to start the engine but they guarantee it to start in two pulls or they will fix it for free.

So when all is said and done, is this an engine you are used to?  For me, when I heard these features of the Briggs & Stratton engine, I really couldn’t believe it.  But somehow they figured out a way to create a durable, mostly maintenance free, powerful and easy start engine, not to mention the ability to store it upright.  So for me, this is one of the highest quality and best engines on the market which makes it a perfect fit for the Toro Personal Pace mower.

Personal Pace Features

Toro Personal Pace with Briggs & Stratton Engine

The Toro is a 22″ gas-powered mower, model 20355.

Toro Personal Pace with Briggs & Stratton Engine

The machine is equipped with a Briggs & Stratton 725 EXi Series engine. The engine has 7.25 ft.lbs of gross torque with a 163 OHV engine.

The back wheels (11″) are a little larger than the front wheels which makes it pretty easy to maneuver around.

Toro Personal Pace with Briggs & Stratton Engine

To lower and raise the deck, you will have to adjust each wheel to the proper level.

This mower will side discharge, bag, and mulch.  One cool feature is the mulching feature.  Most mowers you have to insert a piece into the bag chute, which gets lost.  With the Toro, it’s built in.  Just move a lever and you’re in the mulching mode.  I love this feature.

Toro Personal Pace with Briggs & Stratton Engine

When you are done mowing and want to store the mower, you can easily fold the handle down.  No unscrewing nuts and bolts.  Just turn and lower the handle.

Toro Personal Pace with Briggs & Stratton Engine

The Toro has a built-in deck wash system to keep it clean and help make the mower deck last.

The handle isn’t bad.  I prefer a straight handle but I know a majority of people find this type of handle more ergonomically comfortable.  I would have liked to see the straight bar handle removed as that can get in the way.

Toro Personal Pace with Briggs & Stratton Engine

One of the best features of this mower is the ability to store it upright.  Yes, you can store a gas mower upright and it will still start next time.

Performance

Okay, so the mower has some cool features but how does it perform?  Easy, it’s one of the best performing mowers we have tested and that includes gas and battery power mowers.

First, I love the personal pace.  This makes cutting the lawn easy. No adjusting speeds, no messing around.  Just walk and the mower stays at your pace.

Second, I love how easy it is to start the engine, one pull and I am ready to mow.  Best of all, it plows and tackles any tall grass.  I had some really tall grass and the mower didn’t bog down, slow down or have any hiccups.

Third, was the bagging.  When I was done cutting, not only did the grass look like a million bucks, but I didn’t see any grass clippings laying around, even where I mowed the very tall grass.  I was amazed at how well this machine bagged the clippings.

Fourth, I love how I can store the mower in the upright position.  I have a small shed so space is at a premium.  Being able to store a gas mower up and out of the way, frees up so much room in my shed.

There is a lot more to love but those are my four biggest reasons this is a great mower.

I waited for the grass to grow pretty tall.  As you can see, this grass is very tall and not your typical cutting experience.  Well, unless you’re like me and you get pretty busy.

The mower had no issues cutting the grass.  When it cut the tall grass, not only did it bag it all, but it cut all the grass and didn’t leave any blades uncut.  What I love the best, was the finished look.  The mower made the lawn look awesome.

Value

You can pick this mower up at your local Home Depot for about $450.  Yes, you can get mowers for cheaper and yes, also more money.  But considering the personal pace system, the great finish job when you are done mowing, the strong engine with easy start and being able to store it upright, the price tag is a fair price.

Final Thoughts

All in all, I love this mower.  I am a battery-powered mower user because gas has always been a pain in my rear.  With the Briggs engine, that pain has gone away.  No oil changes, no maintenance, I can store it upright and it’s an easy start system.  So this has most of the advantages of a battery powered mower except this has a ton of torque and a much longer run time.  I love the Personal pace system which makes mowing extremely easy and simple.  So if you have a larger lawn and want a gas mower, this is the mower I would recommend.  Easy, powerful and reliable.

What type of user are you when it comes to OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment)?  Are you a gas or a battery-powered type of user?  Please don’t tell me you like pulling around a power cord, do they even make those mowers anymore?  A while ago, you couldn’t pay me enough to get rid of my gas mower.  Now, you couldn’t pay me to use a gas mower.  Sure gas has its place and I know for larger lawns you need gas, which there are some awesome options for gas mowers.  But for me, someone with a smaller lawn, I want a cordless solution.  Which brings me to the Makita Lawn Mower.

Makita Cordless Lawn Mower Overview

When it comes to power tool manufacturers, I wasn’t sold on the idea of them moving into my lawn maintenance.  However, over the last couple of years, we had the opportunity to use the Makita line of OPE products.  For me, I fell in love with them right off the bat.  I love the quality, performance, and durability.  So what don’t I like about them?  Well, the one thing I really don’t like is they don’t offer a snowblower.  See, I am a huge fan of their OPE stuff and think they do an awesome job at designing them and building them to last.  However, I can’t find a good cordless snow blower.  I really think if Makita built one, they would do it right.

When it comes to cordless OPE products, there are only two options in the market place, Makita and Ego.  While both are the top dogs in the OPE world, Makita does have an advantage.  One of the biggest advantages of Makita, is they do so much more than just OPE.  So if you have the Makita batteries, you can jump into their power tools and other cordless products, which is huge.

Makita Cordless Lawn Mower Features

Makita Cordless Lawn mower

The Makita mower uses a brushless motor and delivers up to 3,300 rpm unless you are in quiet mode, then the motor sets the RPMs at 2,500. The mower can cut up to 7,300 square feet using two 5.0Ah batteries.

Makita Cordless Lawn mower

The mower is powered by two 18v 5Ah batteries making this a 36V mower.

Makita Cordless Lawn mower

The batteries are placed on the back of the mower and covered up by a plastic shield to protect from water and dust.

Makita Cordless Lawn mower

The mower is built with a steel deck for longevity and durability.

On the back wheel, you can raise or lower the deck height (13/16″- 2-15/16).  One nice feature is how smooth and easy it is to push the mower around.  The wheels are small but I feel like they roll very easily and the smaller wheels make it easier making turns while mowing.

Makita Cordless Lawn mower

One huge feature is the handlebar.  Most mowers seem to use cheap handlebars and it gives you a cheap feeling of the mower.  The Makita handlebar is thick and just feels like what you would find on a high-end mower.

My only knock of this mower is there is no quick fold-down of the handlebars.  Not a big deal if you have space.  But some times we are limited by space and it would be nice to easily collapse the handlebars and allow easy storage.

Makita Cordless Lawn mower

If you want to store your mower or lift it up, there is a handle on the front to assist and make it easier to lift the mower.

Makita Cordless Lawn mower

On the handlebar, you have the control panel.  One button is for power and the other is for a quiet mode which reduces RPMs.  Above these buttons, you can see the battery status level without having to actually bend down and check each battery.

Makita Cordless Lawn mower

To start the mower, you press in the red button and pull back on the red lever.  No pulling strings or anything else.

Makita Cordless Lawn mower

The Makita mower uses the typical handlebar set up which is comfortable.  You can either have your hands on the side for an angle feel or the top approach has your hands at a flat set up.

Makita Cordless Lawn mower

While some cordless mowers use a two-blade system, Makita uses a single blade which I feel is much better.

The mower offers either a mulching option or a bagging option.  The bag holds 16 gallons of grass.  You can not side discharge with this mower but let’s be honest, does anyone use side discharge anymore?

Makita Cordless Lawn Mower Performance

I have been busy and we have had a ton of rain this year, so my grass was really high before the mow.  I have used other cordless mowers in the past and I know how most cordless mowers perform great with short grass, but not this tall grass.  So I was curious to see how the Makita would perform.

Going through the tall grass, the Makita mower didn’t bog down, didn’t stall or even cut out.  The mower ran through it with ease.  We have had other brands in the past not be able to cut this grass and would bog down.

So here is what really surprised me, the bagging and cut quality.  With the tall grass, I was expecting to see some of the grass cut and some of the grass pushed down.  Not only did it cut all the grass and leave the lawn looking professional, but it bagged all the grass.  Sure, the bag filled up quickly but it bagged the clippings.  I never had any clippings piled up.

So as far as I am concerned, this mower performs like a champ.

Makita Cordless Lawn Mower Value

In regards to value, you can get the Model XML03PT1 for $550 on Amazon which it comes with the dual charger and 4 5Ah batteries.  If you have the batteries, you can pick up the XML03Z which is the mower only option for $440.

I know this is a big upfront cost but over the long haul, it’s worth every penny.  I love the build quality of this mower and considering I have been using the 36V OPE over the recent years, they have lasted, so you also get durability.  I love the power and ease of use.  So I do think this is worth the cost and a fair price.

Makita Cordless Lawn Mower Final Thoughts

When it comes to Makita and OPE, they are the only power tool manufacturer that has a real platform.  Sure others might have a mower, a blower or something else, but the Makita is the standard.  I have been using their platform for years and I love it.  Powerful, durable and dependable.  The mower is another reason to invest in the Makita OPE line of products.

How do you feel about battery powered OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment)?  Are you sold or just skeptical? For me, I am sold.  Ask me about 5 years ago and I fell into the skeptical bag.  How can battery power be superior to gas power?  Well, let me tell you as a believer, there is no comparison, battery-powered all the way.  I love the power, I love not having to deal with running to the gas station and buying gas, changing a spark plug or moving around a gas can.  So how does the Kobalt stack up?  Let’s check out the Kobalt 80V review and see.

Kobalt 80V Review Overview

So here is the deal.  We have tested Kobalt in the past.  While it was decent, it definitely wasn’t the top performer.  However they are a very popular brand, we wanted to give their new stuff a try and find out for ourselves if they are a player in this market or just another name.

Kobalt 80V Review Features

Kobalt 80V Review

While Kobalt has other OPE tools in their line up, these are the three most common that we will take a look at today, the mower, the blower, and the string trimmer.

These tools run off the Kobalt 80V line.  In this line, you can use either a 2.5Ah battery, a 5Ah battery or 6Ah battery.

Kobalt 80V Review

The self-propelled mower has a run time of about 80 minutes with a 6Ah battery but that will vary on how tall your grass is during the mow. You can use the self-propelled feature without having the mower blades engaged, which is very cool if you are walking from the front to back yard.

The front of the mower features a plastic over-mold to help protect the front when you bump into things. The rest of the deck is steel for durability.

This mower can either mulch, bag or side discharge debris.

Kobalt 80V Review

One cool feature is the ability to raise or lower all four wheels at once with a single lever.

Kobalt 80V Review

One huge feature that we noticed from the previous model was the handle.  This handle is much better than their older model that felt flimsy.

Kobalt 80V Review

On top of the handle, you can easily start the mower and control the speed.

Kobalt 80V Review

No need to open the door and see the battery gauge.  Kobalt designed this with a battery fuel gauge on the handle so you can see your status.

Kobalt 80V Review

The 80V blower runs up to 75 minutes with a 2.5Ah battery. The blower produces up to 630 CFM and 140 MPH.

Kobalt 80V Review

On top of the handle, there is a turbo button.  While this will increase the power, it will also lower the run time.  But this is great for those times you need a little extra power to move larger debris.

Kobalt 80V Review

On the side, there is a cruise control to set and forget the speed so you don’t have to hold the trigger down all the time.

Kobalt 80V Review

The battery sits on the back of the blower which does provide good balance with the front nozzle being longer.

Kobalt 80V Review

The intake is located on the back of the blower which means it won’t try and suck your pants in and cause loss of air.

Kobalt 80V Review

The string trimmer has a 60 minute run time with a 2.5Ah battery but again it depends upon how thick and heavy the grass is that you are cutting.

Kobalt 80V Review

There are two triggers located on the trimmer, the safety and the power.

Kobalt 80V Review

The trimmer features two speeds, high and low which can be adjusted from the top of the trimmer handle. The high speed (Speed 2) is your normal everyday use. Speed 1 is great for when you are around flower beds or other areas you don’t want the grass flying around. The string doesn’t spin as fast with speed 1 and will also increase the run time of the trimmer.

Kobalt 80V Review

The head uses a bump feed system to let out more line.

Kobalt 80V Review Performance

The mower is awesome and a top performer.  I love the cut quality, the run time and the power.  This is one of the only mowers on the market that is battery powered and actually cuts all the grass.  I can’t tell you how many mowers we have tried out and while they cut grass, they definitely leave a lot to be desired.

With the Kobalt mower, it not only cuts all the grass (even thick grass) the self-propelled system is also great.  I love how easy it is to operate and change the speed without having to take your hands off the handle.

Speaking of the handle, the quality as a whole has really improved with this mower.  The handle is no longer a cheap handle, it’s solid and feels like a quality mower.

So from the mower standpoint, this is a huge jump forward for Kobalt and is one of the top performers in the market for battery-powered mowers.

I love the string trimmer but it did take a while to get used to.  The balance is great and the ease of use couldn’t be better.  What took me a while to get used to was the sound or the power.

I am used to string trimmers going all out, being loud and feeling that power.  With the Kobalt, I am not seeing it or feeling it.  So for me, I felt like it was under powered when I first used it.  However, it was doing everything I was asking.  It would cut thick grass and powered through it.  So I know the power is there, it just has a different feeling.

So while I like this string trimmer, it did take me a while to realize that it has the power to do what I need it to do.  So I am starting to think about the other string trimmers on the market.  Do they really need to be that fast and power all the time when I am trimming simple areas?

The blower is also powerful. It will easily blow off walks, driveways, gutters and more.  The one thing I did like was the force.  When on full speed, I didn’t have the feeling of having to fight the blower.  It was easy to work with and move around.

Kobalt 80V Review Value

As far as pricing, the mower runs about $550 at Lowes, the string trimmer runs about $230 with a battery and charger and the blower is also $230 with battery and charger.  I think the mower is easily worth the $550 as it’s quality and produces results.  If you look at the blower and the trimmer, you might think it’s a lot, which it is.  But if you consider you get a battery and charger with each, the price is reasonable.

For the quality of all three and what comes with the OPE tools, I think Kobalt priced these right and is a good deal for homeowners.

Kobalt 80V Review Final Thoughts

Overall, Kobalt make a big jump forward with quality.  While I wasn’t a huge fan of their OPE tools in the past, I am sold on them now.  While the field is getting larger with more and more OPE manufacturers entering the market, I think Kobalt is one of the top because of their performance, quality, and price.

Summer is here which means I have to get the lawn mower out and actually do some work. In the past, this was something I always dreaded but since I have moved over to cordless battery powered OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment), I have to admit, I really don’t have any excuses. I just put the battery in, push the button and I am off to work. No more messing around with gas, spark plugs and pulling my arm off. As you know I am a huge EGO fan. But when a company like Dewalt launches a lawn mower, I am always eager to see how it performs. So let’s take a look at the Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

We saw the lawn mower last year at the Dewalt event. When I first saw it, I thought it was cool, but wasn’t too impressed. Probably because we didn’t have a chance to use it and play around with it. Well now that I had a chance to cut some grass, work with it and test it out, I’ve changed my mind.

The one thing I can say right off the bat is this is one of the highest quality lawn mowers we have tested to date. There is just something about it that feels solid and feels like a real lawnmower but without the weight and the gas motor.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Features

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

The Dewalt lawn mower, model DCMW220P2, uses a brushless motor which means it should be more efficient and run longer.

The Dewalt lawn mower is powered by two 20V batteries. The lawn mower comes with two 5 Ah batteries that feature a 3 LED light fuel gauge.

The batteries slide into the top of the mow and as you can see, there is plenty of room leftover. Which means you can also use the Dewalt Flexvolt batteries for this lawn mower. As a note, you do need to run this lawn mower with both batteries as it will not run with only one battery. This also means that they need to have the same charge. if you run one battery full and one battery with 10% left, you will only get the 10% run time.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

On the back of the mower head, there is a 3 LED light that shows you how much battery life is left on each battery. So as you are walking, you can look down and see the fuel status. Personally, I would rather have a 4 or more LED light indicator, but not a deal breaker.

To start the mower, make sure the safety key is inserted, then press back on the yellow handle and then press down on the yellow push button. The startup time is only a couple of seconds, so it starts pretty fast and doesn’t have a long delay like we have seen with some other battery mowers.

You have three options for this mower. You can either bag the grass, side discharged (Not shown) or you can mulch with the plug.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

One very nice feature to this mower is the ability to adjust the height with a single lever instead of having to adjust each wheel.

The mower uses two larger back wheels while having two smaller wheels on the front.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

The mower uses one of the nicest metal bars we have seen on a battery mower. Most of the mowers we have tested always use a cheap, flimsy handle, except the Ego. I am happy to see Dewalt built this with a quality handle and I think this is one of the reasons this feels like a solid machine.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

If you need to lift this mower, there is a handle on the front and back which makes it easy to lift up and down.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

The deck is a 20″ deck that is nice and high which means the grass can really move around and provide nice mulching capabilities.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

I am not sure the thickness of steel, but it’s not too thin where it will dent easily but not too thick where it makes it weight a ton.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

The handle has a nice set up where you can use your hands on the side or on the top depending on your height and the setting of the handle height.

The mower has two different height settings which are easy to adjust. Just pull a knob out and you can raise or lower the handle to adjust to your height.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

When not in use, you can fold the handle down to store under your workbench or in an area that doesn’t take up a lot of room.

This is the area we cut with two fully charge Dewalt 5 Ah 20V batteries. They state you can cut a 1/4 acre, which this might be. For me, I am not really happy with the runtime. The machine is quality and I love everything about the mower. I do have a hard time getting around the runtime with the batteries though. Can I invest more into Flexvolt? Sure, but then if I am going to do that, why not go with the EGO?

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Overview

In regards to cut quality, it’s the only battery powered mower that performs to EGO standards. It’s the only mower that truly cuts all the grass and doesn’t cut some and fold the rest over. I love the cut quality as it performs like a gas mower.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Value

You can pick this mower up on Amazon for about $350 which includes the batteries. I think the value isn’t bad at all considering how well this is built. However, with the substandard runtime, it is a hard justification unless you already own Flexvolt batteries.

Dewalt 20V Lawn Mower Review Final Thoughts

This mower is bittersweet. While I love the mower and think the quality is top notch, I have a hard time with the runtime. When I am done mowing, I would have to wait and charge the batteries to use my blower and string trimmer. The mower truly cuts grass and doesn’t just fold it over and in the end, it’s an awesome mower. If you own Flexvolt or own extra Dewalt batteries, it might be a great mower to own as long as you understand the runtime isn’t great. If you are looking to get your first mower and aren’t part of the Dewalt line, I think the Ego might be a better platform to get into.

Over the last couple of years, we have seen a huge leap forward in battery technology.  No longer do we have to rely on gas-powered OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment) products.  We don’t have to listen to loud motors, bad smelling fumes or deal with the hassles of bad gas.  Battery technology has changed it all.  We now have quieter machines that are still powerful, but we don’t have to deal with the cons to gas.  So without wasting any time let’s jump into the Yard Force Review.

Yard Force Review Overview

Yard Force might not be a name you are familiar with as it’s not a mainstream name.  Over the past couple of years, we have not only tested a variety of products from them but have had a chance to learn about them and the company.

While we have tested their pressure washer, we now move into their OPE products.  So when we found out we were going to be able to test out their mower, blower and string trimmer, we jumped at the chance.

Yard Force Review

The Yard Force OPE tools run off their 120 RX Lithium-Ion battery.  This provides plenty of power and run time for these heavy applications.

Yard Force Review Mower

The first thing we noticed about this mower is the quality.  We have tested a lot of battery powered mowers over the years and can tell you first hand that there isn’t a lot on the market that screams quality.  The Yard Force is a mower that seems to be designed with quality in mind.

Yard Force designed this around a brushless mower and a steel deck which means the motor is efficient and the deck will last for years. In fact, Yard Force offers a 5-year warranty with this mower.

You will get about 100 minutes of run time per charge.  Again, it depends upon how thick of grass you are mowing.  One item we noticed was that when you get into thick grass, the motor will kick up to produce more power so you can cut thick, tall grass.

The mower holds two batteries and will work off a single battery.  So if you are charging a battery, the mower will keep working.  If you discharge a battery while mowing, it will automatically switch over to the other battery.

The mower is self-propelled.  Just pull up on the back lever and you no longer have to push the mower around.  Just walk behind it and guide it in any direction.

Yard Force Review

You can adjust the speed of the mower with a lever located on the left handle.  Word of warning, the fast mode is cruising, so make sure you want to walk at a fast pace.

Yard Force Review Yard Force Review

The mower is a 3 in 1 mower where you can bag, mulch or side discharge.  Even the bag is well thought out and extremely nice.  Speaking of bagging this is the most grass I have ever seen pushed into a bag.

Yard Force Review

To turn the mower on, just press and hold the power button.  Once it turns green, you can press the orange button and pull back on the handle.  There is a delay in startup but that is with every battery-powered mower we have used and tested.

Yard Force Review

I love the large handle to adjust the height.  A single lever adjusts all four wheels.  Very smooth and easy to use.

If you buy the mower you get the following items:

  • Mower
  • (2) 120vRX high-capacity 2.5 Ah batteries
  • (1) 4 Amp fast charger
  • Bag, Mulching Kit and side discharge.

Yard Force Review Blower

Yard Force Review

As with the mower, Yard Force offers a 5-year warranty on the blower.  This is also built with a brushless motor and produces 540 CFM and 140 MPH.  You can expect to get about 40 minutes of run time with this blower on low.

The blower comes with a shoulder strap and two different types of nozzles.

Yard Force Review

Press and hold the power button to turn on and off the blower.  Once the unit is on, you can use the push button to adjust speeds of the blower.  You can change speed without having to remove your finger from the trigger.

To activate the blower, you can use the finger trigger.

Yard Force Review

The intake is below and on the back of the blower which is nice.  This means it will not be sucking in your shorts while taking in air.

The kit comes with the following items:

  • Blower
  • (1) 120vRX high-capacity 2.5 Ah battery
  • (1) 4 Amp fast charger
  • Shoulder strap
  • 2 air-control nozzle tubes

Yard Force Review String Trimmer

Yard Force Review

As with the mower and blower, Yard Force also included a 5-year warranty on the string trimmer for peace of mind.  The string trimmer also features a brushless motor for efficiency and longer run times.  You will get about 60 minutes of run time per charge.

Without a doubt, this is one of the most powerful battery operated string trimmers we have used or tested.  Talk about power, this has it.

The string Trimmer has an 18″ cutting swath and uses a .095″ line.

Yard Force Review

Once the power is on, you have to depress the small orange safety button and pull the trigger to start the trimmer.

Yard Force Review

To turn on and off the trimmer, just press and hold the power button.  You can adjust the speeds using the right push button.  You can set it to three different speeds.

The kit comes with the following items

  • String Trimmer
  • (1) 120vRX high-capacity 2.5 Ah battery
  • (1) 4 Amp fast charger
  • Shoulder Strap

Yard Force Review Value

You can pick up this mower on Amazon for about $800 which isn’t too bad for this type of mower.  You get two batteries, a steel deck which will last for years and a self-propelled mower.  Think about it, no more dealing with mad gas, loud motors or all the other bad stuff with gas mowers.

You can pick up the blower for about $350 from Amazon.  Again, not a bad price considering you get a battery with the blower.  You will get about 40 minutes of run time on low and it only takes 30 minutes to charge.

The string trimmer also runs for about $350 on Amazon.  This is one of the most powerful battery operated string trimmers we have tested.  So if you have areas that are thick and you need the power, this is the one to have.

Yard Force Review Final Thoughts

Some might feel this system is expensive to get into but considering the power and the quality, it’s a fair price for this system.  While I would like to see a plastic deck, most people still love the steel deck.  Considering it is self-propelled, weight isn’t a huge issue since you just have to sit back and walk behind it.  While the blower didn’t blow us away, we love the fact you get two types of nozzles and can easily adjust the speed.  On the other hand, the string trimmer is one of the most powerful units we have tested in this category.  If you are looking to get into a battery-powered OPE platform, the Yard Force is a good one to look at and consider.

If you have never used a zero turn and you are in the market for a new riding lawn mower, you might want to look at a zero turn.  Why would I say you should look at a zero turn?  A zero turn is precisely just that, a lawn mower that turns on a dime.  While traditional lawn mowers have a wider turning radius, a zero turn has a zero turn radius which makes it perfect for most lawns.  Now before you say I have used a zero turn and just don’t like the idea of having two bars control my steering, don’t worry as the Troy-Bilt Mustang Zero Turn doesn’t uses the bar steering system.  In fact, this lawn mower uses a traditional steering wheel.  So if you like the idea of having a zero turn radius, but want a lawn mower with a steering wheel, well you’re in luck as the Troy-Bilt Mustang Zero Turn lawn mower might just be your next mower.

Troy-Bilt Mustang Zero Turn Overview

Troy Bilt Mustang Zero TurnWhen Troy-Bilt designed this mower, they didn’t start with some cheap frame system.  In fact, they designed this mower with a heavy duty steel full frame which makes the base of this mower both durable and long lasting.  Think of a house.  If you don’t start with a good foundation, everything else is just garbage.  So I am happy to say the Troy Bilt Mustang Zero turn has a great foundation.  Next Troy-Bilt took the steering idea to heart and designed a great system.  The Mustang Pivot combines the natural motion and control of a steering wheel with the precision and performance of a zero-turn mower.  The lawn mower has a 4-wheel steering system which provides precise control on hills and uneven terrain.  Next comes the power.  The Mustang is powered by a 22 HP Kohler Twin Courage Engine which means you can power through hills and more.  In fact, this mower will reach speeds of 7 mph forward and 2.5 in reverse.  This motor also means it has no problem powering the 46″ twin blade mowing system (Side Discharge Deck).  Your controls are located on the right side of the driver which makes it easy to start, turn the electronic PTO on/off and also adjust the speed.  Also located on the right side is the mower deck height adjustment, which has 8 different selections.  As far as Troy-Bilt having your back, the mower comes with a 3 year limited residential warranty and limited lifetime frame warranty.  In case you are wondering, the fuel tank capacity is 2.8 gallons and run time will vary on speed and height of grass being cut.

Troy-Bilt Mustang Zero Turn Thoughts

Troy Bilt Mustang Zero TurnWhen it comes to riding lawn mowers, there are a couple things I always look for in a good mower.  First is value.  I want a quality lawn mower, but like everyone else, I don’t want to pay through the roof.  We have tested a bunch of different Troy-Bilt machines over the years and one thing I have found out is Troy-Bilt always seems like a fair price.  Troy-Bilt always seems like they produce good quality products for reasonable prices.  While other companies sometimes cut corners, Troy-Bilt always seems like they take their products serious and want them to last for the long haul.  So with that said, the Troy-Bilt Mustang Zero Turn doesn’t seem any different.  It’s just one of the mowers that feels like you are on a quality mower.  For a price tag of $2,800, it seems to be a fair price considering the frame quality, the cut quality and the other options packed into this tiny little unit.  So next on the list is riding experience.  Now some people might think it’s a little bouncy, I tend to think this lawn mower rides like a champ.  No, I am not saying it’s like a Cadillac, but it’s much better than other riding mowers we have tested.  I have been on lawn mowers where I feel like my spine is being driven through my legs and that isn’t pleasant.  Again, you do feel bouncing, but one of the most comfortable rides we have had in a while.  The last item on the list is cut quality.  Again, this mower has a good engine with plenty of power.  For being a zero turn, it seems like this turns on a dime and is very easy to get back to the precise spot you were cutting before you hit the turn.  As long as you keep your blades sharp, you should expect a great looking cut when you finally stand back and look at your handy work.

So all in all, I have to say this is a great lawn mower and Troy-Bilt did a good job designing a zero turn for the homeowner.  The mower seems like a quality mower that should last you a long time.  I didn’t get into all the options as this has all the typical options you would expect like cruise control, easy to use in forward and reverse and more. Bottom line, this is a great mower and if you’re in the market for a mower, it’s worth your time to take a look at the Troy-Bilt Mustang zero turn.
