Some people have said it’s not considered an EPA efficient boiler but I can’t say my gas bills are extremely high. All in all I love this boiler, it has been great. I have it for 5 different zones and it has been awesome. Not sure if all boilers do this but I like how once it gets close to the desired heat, the flames kick off and the pump still goes to circulate the water. All in all, I love this boiler and would get it again.

Yes, this was released back in 2013 so I am sure there is much better stuff on the market today.

Comment on Ridgid Warranty – Is it Really the Best in the Business? by David Barr https://toolsinaction.com/ridgid-warranty-really-best-business/#comment-231145 Mon, 04 Nov 2024 18:41:56 +0000 http://toolsinaction.com/?p=74052#comment-231145 Hi, I am pissed at Rigid. I did all 3 steps you claimed would cover me. I did not look at the website due to not needing to look and then bought a new tool. I went to the registration page and NONE of my tools are there. I called them about 5 times and they said “Oh so sorry”. WTF? I like their tools but the LSA thing is a gimmick. It does not work. It is just a bait and switch as far as I am concerned. I have also called to get my email address updated and it still a non working email address. If there is ever a class action over the LSA, I am going it.

That’s crazy they don’t support this gun with nails anymore. Yes, as long as the nailer stats it will accept 1-1/ 4 x .120, then it should work no matter what manufacturer of nails you have.

My Lifeproof is in my basement and still looks great with no gaps. I didn’t know if it would develop gaps over the years but it’s about 5 or 6 years old and still looks great. I have two kids who have done a lot in the area and it’s still looking great. I only have one chip when i dropped a drill on the floor but you really can’t notice it. When I installed it, it locked together and when put in place with a mallet, I didn’t have any gaps. If you are just trying to test it and put it in place without using the mallet, my guess is you will not get a tight fit. When we laid the floor and used the mallet, it was a tight fit and looks great. However that was 5 or 6 years ago so who knows it Lifeproof has changed the design and how they lock into place. Maybe they have changed the design and it’s not as sturdy as it once was, but again, I haven’t used Lifeproof in 5 or 6 years.

I’m about to remodel a rental with vinyl plank flooring in all rooms. I am considering both LifeProof and Pergo products, and both seem comparable regarding wear layer, scratch resistance, waterproof, etc. I have samples of both, but I have concerns about gapping between panels. The Pergo samples lock tightly together, however the LifeProof samples have a very noticeable gap between panels. Is this what can be expected in the finished product, or is there something in the installation process that makes this gap go away?

Will any nails that are: 1-1/ 4 x .120 Roofing Coil Nails work for this Paslode gun? I have already done the fuel cell conversion.

Thank you!

Comment on Ryobi 3100 Pressure Washer with Honda Engine Review – Model RY80940 by Phil Ryan https://toolsinaction.com/ryobi-3100-pressure-washer-with-honda-engine-review-model-ry80940/#comment-230514 Fri, 18 Oct 2024 20:41:16 +0000 http://toolsinaction.com/?p=24273#comment-230514 I have about a 5 year old Ryobi 3100 with Honda Engine. I treat it with Kid Gloves. I spend inoridinate amout of time cooling the engine off once I have finished power washing.

I would never purchase another one. This unit continually fails to perform. I have used the unit twice since it was in the shop. Today, after choking the engine it became stuck on low power and would not kick into high power. Nothing I did was able to kick the engine into high power.

I am undecided whether to take it to the shop again or throw it out and purchase a new one. Of course, it won’t be a Ryobi!!!

Wish I could help but I do not have any experience with Cub snow blowers and really haven’t heard anything good or bad about the snow blowers.
