I live out in the country where I am about an hours drive to the nearest Home Depot store.
I have own both and found that the DeWALT has been more dependable for my use. All of my power tools are cordless because of the nature of the jobs I do. My power tools are about all purchase close to the same time frame because of convenience and availability. Now about all of my Ryobi batteries are now useless and the DeWALT’s are still able to hold a charge longer and the mechanical issues all seem to favor the DeWALT also. The types of jobs that I usually accomplish are minor mechanical uses, furniture refinishing, small wood projects, and home repairs.
