My husband bought a ridgid planner in late July, 2012. He has been lucky if he planned 600 board feet and it stopped working. The broken part is not something as easy as a bolt or nut. It is in the sealed housing that rotates the roller. This is our third ridgid planner, and why we bought a third I’m not sure. I think he liked the simple basics of it, but we had far better product with his DeWalt. That lasted well over 5 months!!!
